Education is an ongoing process that includes all social,cultural,individual aspects within.In the words of John Dewey, “Education is a social process; education is growth; education is not a preparation for life but is life itself.” In my school the students are highly ambitious and strong willed. They are determined to succeed both in curricular activities and community involvement through many leadership projects. I have been cooperating with my colleagues,my students and of course my school management as a harmonious team to achieve our goal,SUCCESS.As a result of this utmost dedication, cooperation,commitment and involvement our students are sure to obtain the best results.International Education Week gave us the opportunity to evaluate and share different aspects of education with our students and with our global connections.Karsıyaka Anadolu High encourages and supports all kinds of collaborations with our global friends.We all appreciate youth engagement in leadership and cross-cultural understanding.Our most important mission is to support young people's healthy development and integration into social community projects to reach a desired outcome of positive relationships,participation in social affairs and maintaining the quality of community life.We are looking forward to more projects in which adults and youth collaborate globally to raise public awareness of the role that youth play in building bridges across cultures .Youth have incredible potential to develop and implement innovative ideas to create positive change within their communities.
